So the hacking forums seem slightly dead and I orignally made an account for another purpose but I figured i would share something interesting cause I don't see any posted regarding the following.
Tera Online is slightly broken from a client point of view. What I mean by this is if you didn't know collision the limitations for where you can or can't walk is actually controlled clientside. This means removing collision files for a map gives the user o collision when they should have collision. And we all know how combat in city's is nearly anoying. Removing collision files makes people go through your characters hitbox. Throw in lagswitching and it makes the person unable to be hit in pvp. But collision actually plays other parts on the game as well. Removing textures and collision from a map allows you to be able to walk though walls and go places in a map which otherwise wouldn't be possible under normal circumstances.
Don't believe this is true? What about the 2 minute LoT run there was some video's floating around about people able to complete LoT in 2 minutes and people just assumed (its a private server video) Of course without disclosing it the game actually patched LoT recently making it so the last boss will not spawn until the others are killed. And to prove this claim I'll show you how it was done.
Remove the following files from the game before entering LoT:
SEC_JOK_SD_BlockingVolume.gmp
SEC_JOK_SD_B1FB2F.gmp
SEC_JOK_SD_1FB1F.gmp
When you zone into LoT turn to the left and you will fall down to the last floor where the portal is for the last boss. The last boss will not be spawned of course because of the change. But I'm sure with this much information it would be easy for you to figure out its use else where like I have.
