Thread: Tera Client ( Wine OSX )

It's my first post so let's introduce myself.

I'm currently "playing" with the TeraEmulator from P5yl0. By the way, P5yl0, you did great work on it. I'm using the 1725 version.

I used to test all the private server on VMware under Mac OSX.

After spend some time to compile the server part, I finally success to install the server.

Then I fix my VMware machine to be able to launch the client.

After that, I tryed to launch the Tera Client under wine on OSX in order to gain some speed.

Unfortunatly, the P5sl0 launcher can't run under Wine because of the .Net Framework. I solved this issue by writing my own launcher in C/C++. For now it's a simple launcher, but It allow me to launch the client ... until the WinLicense issue.

After doing some research on Internet to solve the WinLicense issue ( "can't run under a Virtual Machine") using Wine under OSX, I found the Progamercity forum.

So, let's install OllyDbg ( and some plugin to hide the process ). I read some t4y web page and used a lot of different OllyScript but I wasn't able to unpack the client. I can't even find the OEP :S .

I know that I go against the forum rule by asking something before helping someone else but I need the Unpacked Tera Client v 215702 to test it under Wine.

Of course, if someone has something to ask regarding my post, i will please to help.
