Hey Dwar were you able to get attack speed to work, because I tried to get it to work but the pointer keeps changing while attacking. It's kind of like in CE
I find pointer x which points to the right address and the right value.
I change the value of pointer x and freeze it, I confirm the change by looking at the char status screen.
I fire/swing my wep and suddenly the pointer suddenly doesn't point to the right address anymore it point to ????????? just during the attack animation then immediately goes back to saying it has the right address.
I can slow down the speed in which I fire/swing my wep but when I try to decrease the speed it doesn't want to. I mean it will say it did but when I actually do the attack the pause between the next attack is the same as if I didn't do anything at all...
Don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if the change wasn't just for the event.
Yeah, but I use Ollydbg not CE and don't use any pointers or value re-writing, just code patching. So I can't help you with finding attack value with CE

With melee weps I can change the attack speed in CE and it shows up in the char screen and you can tell when swing the wep.
I've changed it to the point where the only thing limiting my speed is the animation.
Edit: I feel so stupid, after researching the game a bit I found out there is a variant factor when dealing with the speeds of most weps. I believe I found out what my problem was and fixed it.
Edit 2: it seems I can only change the wep speed for melee weps not for ranged one.. I wonder why?
