    Tera parsed database

    Hi all.
My first attempt to parse binary dat file. It contains all items with fine strings info.
Also I've parsed prices data, but not included here.

Here we can discuss that stuff.

    UPD
Added all items info with fine strings info.

Hi, a have the same progress as you, only difference is you parse it to SQL and i prefer XML. I would be grateful for the source code of your parser, it is very helpful to us in developing our server. I can give in return our ideas after processing our parsers.

I have added new version of DB with all items in main post. Strings now are fine I think.

P.S. Source code I can't publish in open thread.

As sayo said, it's way better to have the items in a XML, just because sometimes the items will have other data structures in them, and then you would need to create another SQL table. Also, in XML you can always see what are the values you're touching, not having to count columns :P

I have been taking a look at this file and if we could get all the data it contains we would have a very accurate "tera library" ^^

    So wishing to collaborate!

    Question

Any news with tera dat file parsing? We spent a lot of time in breaking minds about how to do this. If someone could help us, or give advice, or learn how to do this - please contact me. Or maybe you already know how to parse dat file - we ready to cooperate in a reasonable manner.

Now, you can use my decoding tool and decryption tool from h4x0r here to get all data by yourself.
