Thread: Help With Unpacking/Repacking editing.

Hello PGC,

I'm new to this vdk editing, however, I've managed to unpack the DAT.VDK and it's still in a .VDK format.
I've browsed around for a .vdk editor and stumbled across Ida Pro, I have it installed as well as python, but I'm no sure I'm approaching this the right way.
My ultimate goal for the DAT.DVK editing is to have a permanent speed hack, attack speed, hp, mp, and level hack. I understand that most of these are sever-sided, however, it is the client that gives you your speeds, hp/mp, and level. I'm not saying that level hacking is possible, because it would just be a number and not actually giving you any benefits.

However, I lack the education of programing and I've come here for help. I want to try and edit the DAT.VDK file and share it with PGC once it is complete. I'll have pictures, videos, instructions, etc for it all nicely laid out. However, I do NOT want it to become complete PUBLIC, I'd like it best if we could keep it here on PGC and for PGC users only.

Please, if anyone of you knows how to edit these files and which programs are required for it, I'd be most grateful as well as better off with your assistance.

It finally worked and I've managed to edit lvl exp, however my level is capped, so we can accomplish nothing with that.
I also edited all the classes stats in the .VDK but that doesn't help the character any.
I'm trying to figure out how to open .lua files.
I'm thinking python but its almost 1am and I have a few college classes tomorrow so I gatta get into bed.

Also, I'm trying to find out where you found the attack angle and all that in the PGC's .VDK that you've released here, because I'd love to find it and see if I could tweak it for hand 2 hand classes as well.
