Just wanna ask what would be a good tool to use to hack this game WPE? Ollydbg? Please help me do my first hack. I just to change a price of a certain item in the game. Please recommend a good tool to use.

Oh and by the way there are no hacks current found anywhere for this game, only a multiclient and bot. They said Sorien did a hack but didn't release it. I only want a hack that will change the price of an item sold by an npc, the "paper currency" item.

I started ollydbg when I was near the npc, I bought one paper currency for 50,000 macca. Is it possible to change it's price? I am not yet familiar using either WPE or Ollydbg and i know only a little of programming but not ASM. Is there an easy way to learn how to interpret all the data that I'm getting so that I understand it and create a hack of my own? I really want to learn.

And the hacks that you've made so far, how do I use them? Sorry, yeah Im pathetic.

As for the game itself it is little weird, I agree, and it doesn't seem to be interesting at first but as you play, it grows on you. It's the only game that I played so far that actually required me to think. In most MMORPG's that I played, most of them only requires you to spam attack till the enemy dies. But here you must be aware of the monsters actions for you to attack it successfully as direct attack isn't always the best tactic. You need to think about guarding, dodging, and countering as the monsters can do the same. Also catching the monster to be your partner is also a game on itself as different monsters react differently to your negotiations to contract it. You can talk, threaten, taunt and even bribe it to join you but it won't always guarantee success even if you know what skill is best to catch it. Also the monsters you choose to be partners with will greatly change the way you play depending on your play style so you have to choose which partner is best for you. And you also need to "breed" them so that you can create the best partner you want. Breed them to become support, damagers, or healers, or tanks, again depending on your playing style. the character you start out with is a generic character which will grow depending on what skill you use and train but there are no set classes here. You can be a pure melee, pure gunner, melee/caster, shot/mage, or anything you want to be as long as you train the skills you want. So no players are exactly alike. I hope you can spend more time in this game coz I think it's good. Although I haven't played either Requiem or Martial Empire. for now I like this game .

What can I use to decrypt the encryption in this game so that I can decrypt the packets that I got from WPE so That I can locate it in Ollydbg?

I v'e been trying to reverse it using the tutorial about reversing MMO found here but I can't understand what Im seeing. . Well since you have been very kind enough to help out someone like me, a newbie , I am hoping that I can still ask you to help me again. In was thinking that maybe we could meet in-game since you already got the game installed. What Im trying to to do is modify the process made when buying the item called "paper currency" which cost 50,000 / piece. I have now 100,000 that we could use for experimenting. I know it will be easy for you to identify the process and find holes that can be modified in the code. Unlike me who doesn't. Can we do this please? Meet in-game when your not so busy?
