Aliens: Colonial Marines is a game of first-person shooter (FPS) inspired by the characters from the movie Aliens 2 (1986) directed by James Cameron.
This time the player embodies the skin of a Colonial Marine - a special division of the U.S. Army responsible for military actions in regions outside the planet Earth. You assume the role of a recruit recently allocated a squad which must investigate the disappearance of the spaceship Sulaco (seen in the second film of the series Aliens).
The game recreates many environments from the movie as well as objects and weapons used throughout the four films in the franchise starring by Lieutenant Ellen Ripley and the most dangerous creatures in the entire universe.
