Thread: Some basic tips about how NOT to get viruses

This was written completely from my experience, thus there might be something that you already know, or just plain incorrect.
Please consider pointing out the fault, missing explanations and my mistakes instead of just throwing this into Trash Bin.
Any suggestions, ideas, corrections and contributions are welcomed!

These are some tips I got from my experiences, about how to avoid getting infected by viruses/malwares.

1. First of all, have common sense.
If you see something like "Free Steam Gift card ($500) for $10", it's very likely it's fake and will send you to some phony site instead.

2. Avoid things that are too good to be true.
Please, I can't stress this enough.
