I've been working with computers my whole life, so I can confidently say I have some good experience with the ins and outs of a computer, ranging from the hardware and the repairing/building of computers, to system and application software. Though I do have many weaknesses that I need to work on.
I decided to join this forum for several reasons,
When I first came across this forum, I decided to take a peak out of pure curiosity. I wasn't expecting it to be any different than the forums that are currently swarming the internet focusing on similar topics and discussions, but I found my stereotypical judgement to be inaccurate.
From what I can discern after taking a look at the rules, I can tell that the moderators and admins only wish for the best of this site, and from what I believe, the community is what makes or breaks a forum. From what I can tell, the moderators and Admins took careful consideration when writing out the rules to make sure that this forum can be as successful as possible. The restrictions and the semi-private community helps back this up. This is one of the reasons I decided to register as a member on this forum.
In closure to what I stated above, I've come to the conclusion that active members on on this forum are above average and I'm sure this is a great community which is what matters most for me.
Finally, one of my final reasons of registering involve the Game Research and Programming section. I need to touch up on my programming skills, but besides that, this forum has some unique sub-forums that I'm quite interested in. It seems the topics and forums fit my interests quite well, so I hope I can become an acceptable member of this community.
I don't know how well I can help and support the community, but Ill give it my all. I'm sure I can help teach a few things as well as give some good advice to those in need.
If you made it this far thanks very much for reading what I wanted to say.
