    Lightbulb Struggle on opening .nx3 file

    I wonder wich program save as .nx3
    I know is a CAD platform and probably created in u-g nx3 (unigraphics nx3) siemens cad platform.
    the problem is u-g nx8(last version) or nx3 save projects as .prt not .nx3
    Well the .nx3 files are used to create a body with 2d textures (.dds). is also called for that a jointer.
    So wich cad program, tool anny... can open .nx3 files, or better wich soft can save a model texture as parts (dds) and joints (nx3)

    What nx3 files?

    There is no guarantee that google will correctly assess the source of an arbitrary format based on file extension (the chances of google correctly guessing the source of a format with ".mdl" extension is close to zero).

    You should also be uploading sample nx3 files so people can see for themselves.
    I develop noesis plugins using the Sanae3D interface I wrote. If a plugin says Sanae3D is missing, just download it and put it in your plugins folder. Since signatures do not allow URL tags you can visit my profile to get the link to my website which contains a link to the Sanae3D package.

    But I'm usually on xentax.

    well there are 4 different type of files.
    the .dds, who are the texture (4 cuz basicaly 2 and the other 2 have applyed lvls corection)
    the .naf who are the body animations (its a dragon pet)
    the .cob who is a compiler that interact with all pieces and with db
    the .nx3 who is the jointer (body using dds files and join them togheter)

    well im not interested to reverse the process so i can see an 3d model based on body created with textures. i wanna know how to save the new models so it can be recognasied by gs.
    maya open the dds (so the 3dsmax) but none recognised the nx3 or the .naf animations

    You kind of have to reverse the 3D models and animations if you want to create new ones.
    I don't think it's possible to add new models without understanding it.

    Are you sure this is a CAD platform and are you sure this is made using that CAD tool?
    I am not familiar with terms like "jointer" or "compiler"

    And what game is this?

    new stuff

    the game is called Rappelz, we got an dumper (60-70%)but still need help on graphics.
    nx3,naf,cob files are for graphic part, and they used custom engine. here a bit what ive found

    BTRF and DIFNIBK have almost the same type of header, they have 16 bytes GUID (at the beginning for BTRF and everywhere in the file in DIFNIBK)
    for the BTRF file, GUID values start at 0x10
    they are saved like this:
    the guid: AF0F5D24-2F4B-....
    the value starting at 0x10 are a multiple of 0x10): 245D0DAF4B2F ...

    full dumper and it work with e2-e7 clients..includint current p4 one
