Hi being a noob I am curious as to where to get started on extracting models, textures from some of the games I play. I am very interested in polycounts, normal mapping, and just general procedures used to make some of the models look so good from games like Rohan, Maestia, even combat arms( I know the models cant have high poly counts, Do they use LOD?. These are all things Im curious about. Ive tried downloading some of the files here but it says I must make a justifyable post. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Im so interested in looking in what is modular, Single meshes, etc. Any help in the right direction is appreciated
