NifTools is an open source project creating tools—such as an editor, C++ and Python libraries, and import/export plugins for Maya, 3ds Max, and Blender—for files used by the NetImmerse/GameBryo™ game engine. These tools enable users to create and edit 3D models and animations used in several popular PC games. So far, NifTools has focussed on TES3: Morrowind, Star Trek: Bridge Commander, Freedom Force, Freedom Force vs the 3rd Reich, Dark Age of Camelot, Zoo Tycoon 2, Empire Earth II, Empire Earth III, Civilization IV, Sid Meier's Railroads, TES4: Oblivion, Megami Tensei: Imagine, Pro Cycling Manager, Loki, Prison Tycoon, Wildlife Park 2, Red Ocean, The Guild 2, Axis and Allies, and perhaps a few more.
