my first post, here it goes..
I'm interested in bypassing GG.. read a lot of infos on the internet and I need some form of clarifications on what I'm about to do..
if I were to start a game protected with GG, WinAPI hooks will be taken over by GG's.. is this correct ?
( my assumption is its true, since my anti-virus is flagging the GameMon.des as a threat, modifying window's default behaviours )
to bypass GG, does it means that I have to write my own 'x.dll' and inject it into the game process thus re-taken the GGs' hooks ?
I do know that GG has a checking mechanism, which you guys refer to as hearbeat packets where it sends confirmations to GG's server periodically confirming that no other than their hooks are in the WinAPI.. in order to fully bypass the protection, I need to emulate the heartbeat packets.. is this correct ?
on the other hand, i found a macro s/w that manages to hide ( its has an option for changing the macro's process name within windows ) and able to be used in a game protected by GG..
will CE works if I change its process name? the same way the macro s/w mentioned hide itself..
p/s : sorry if I messed up all the terms.. hours of reading has crippled my brain..
