The only thing that increases the chance is only the soup itself, because of increasing 40 points of luck, about to press Enter, it has no relationship to increase the chance of refining, as there is a button that you press or fails to press, which will not increase the chance.

the soup really helps in the refinement, the other tips are pure coincidence, there is no relationship between these actions and the success rate.

all it's just a superstition....(until now)

it all by shear luck only, no specific time or what ever you do, unless u able to edit the DB table from server side, or ask GM refine for you. differnt person have different luck for this purpose. Unless you need guide which ease you (event we know it superstition) when you do the refine or anything related.
