    Aika Dungeons

    10 Steps to Aika Dungeons

This guide will briefly describe some simple guidelines for new players in the instance dungeons offered by Aika Online. This post shares the easy to understand dungeon concepts for beginners of the game. In addition, you can also review the Simple Aika Dungeon Maps before you head into your first dungeon run.

    1. Tanks Lead the Pack
The Pally (superior tank because of related defense skills) should be the main tank leading the raid/group, with Warrior being the back up tank. Do not run ahead or wander off if you are other classes. In the event that the Paladin dies and can not be resurrected, the Warrior can substitute for the Paladin if his armors are sufficient for the dungeon.

    2. Give Tanks Time to Build Aggro
Do not start using skills the second the mobs are being pulled in. Give the tanks time to build aggro against mobs so that the mobs are less likely to switch targets once you start attacking. This ensures that the cleric only has to heal the tank. The exact time that you should wait is dependent on how skillful the tanks are at pulling and the level of his provoke. Wait for the provoke animation which is twin red swords crossed downward.

    3. Tanks Need to Adjust Speed Based On the Cleric's needs
Although tanks do lead the pack, sometimes they need to slow down in order to give time for the clerics to buff the entire party. Also they need to adjust their speed or style if the cleric is less experienced.

    4. Definition of DPS
DPS means damage per second. However, Aika players generally describe main damage dealers as DPS. As a DPS class, You should aim for the greatest damage per second in a long time period.

    5. Do Not Get Aggroed
If you are not the tank, stay with the group and do not run off on your own. There is no use in taking the additional chance of being killed or giving your healer more headache. You could also lessen your chance of taking the aggro by always focusing on the Tanks target.

    6. Do Not Bring Aggroed Mobs Outside of Provoke Range
If you pull aggro from a mob or boss, do not run to the cleric and do not run around. Stay near the tank so that he could provoke the mobs back into his control.

    7. Get Aggros Off Your Cleric When Possible
Sometimes the clerics do get aggroed. When this happens, you need to do your best with either skills or damage to get aggro off the clerics.

    8. Boss Fights - Order of Killing
Let your tank to aggro the boss and build aggro, while you finish off the monsters that engage your group along with the boss. Do not leave the minions alive and go straight for bosses. That could be a recipe for team wipe.

    9. Boss Fights - AOE attacks
Do not stand near the boss that does AOE attacks if you are a ranged attacker. However, if you are a near-ranged attacker such as a warrior, you need to observe the level and your HP and pull out to re-heal when you have a chance of dying.

    10. Note of Resurrection for Clerics
Clerics are the only class with the ability to resurrect party members in the event of death. Cast resurrect within one minute or the dead players will be automatically kicked out from the dungeon. Resurrect Paladins first because they can draw mob attacks once revived.

Advanced:Pulling Mobs and Patrol Control in Higher Level Dungeons
In advanced dungeons past level 40, especially in Hell level dungeons, the dungeon mobs do substantial damage. Players need to move slowly to avoid possible team wipe. Although not complicated, the mobs In these dungeons have fixed patrol and location patterns. If you do not have knowledge or experience for the new dungeons that you encounter, rely on the other team members who do and be careful not to pull more mobs than your team can handle.

Common Courtesy if You Know You Get Disconnected
If you know you DC a lot, let the party know that ahead of time and do not give them the surprise of finding out in the middle of a dungeon run.

might as well buy a lots of dimensional scroll so that u can go back to the DQ party.
and give it also to the clerics so she can go back when she die.

and yea good guide dwar, unfortunately most dont respect those simple lines and hope that after entering dungeon they can shout lag lag lag and everyone will let them leech
maybe this guide should go on their forums, maybe that way people will start to respect those rules and do dungeons better
